Good small town Cafe. Nice folks. Good food. Large portions

I love the Viking! Breakfast is great! My club sandwich today was amazing! The staff is always friendly. Simply put its a great place to go for a meal and a smile!

Some times might serve a day old French fries and fry it again and serve it again but other than that this place is really good

Not a bad little greasy spoon, just not as charming as some. Place has a great bustle about it, lots of activity.The good: convenient location and very obviously the "local spot" for breakfast. Very affordable options and a nice diversity of menu items. Place was clean and well kept.The bad: quarters are tight, everyone is privy to your conversation and adding 4 ounces to the tiny coffee cups would prevent my meal being interrupted every 120 seconds by someone wanting to "top it off." Food was average diner breakfast at best.This is grandpa's spot to get bacon and eggs and shoot the breeze with his buddies. A place for a family to grab a humble weekend breakfast without breaking the bank. If you're looking for food that.makes you want to come back again and again, there are.better options in town.

Neat little cafe. Great atmosphere inside, like a step back in time. Service was friendly and quick. We ordered the French toast and sausage omelette with hash browns and the gravy overtop. Overall a good experience.

It's like I was stepping back in time. It is a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that let's you catch your breathe from a hectic day. Lots of great childhood memories with my parents came back when I sat down. Everyone has a smile or says HI. The food was the best I've had in a very long time. The menu has a wide variety of options and specials to choose from depending on your craving for the day. Definitely recommend to everyone. I will return.... many more times to try the rest of the menu. Thank you to the staff.

Great atmosphere! This place has it all. Good food, hometown feel,and super great staff! The prices are so reasonable. This is a good breakfast spot. It gets busy so you may have a wait, but it's worth it!

The nostalgic 70s vibe and classically delicious diner food makes this a must stop for anyone. It's a little far off the highway, but worth the extra 10 minutes for the great food, great service, and incredible prices for the serving sizes. Y'all have to stop. It's something special.

Perfect portions and by that I mean very generous! Completely down home comfort food, nice and greasy and delicious! And the prices cannot be beat!

Best service, best food, good decor

Awesome dinner with the classic small town feel. The food we had was absolutely delicious. I had the one egg, hash browns, bacon, and French toast instead of regular toast. The bacon was cooked perfect and the French toast was served with real maple syrup. If your in town I highly recommend!

High quality food and coffee cups that never run dry endure as well, with friendly and efficient waitstaff. Locals and tourists can depend on generous portions of great food, the only fancy item being the "Fancy Nancy," hash browns topped with veggies and cheese. You Will get your money's worth on a side of bacon. You might have to wait for a booth or a stool during the breakfast rush but be patient, the wait is worth it.

Best sandwich I have had in years! I ordered the chicken sandwich but I added bacon and American cheese along with a little buffalo sauce! You can't beat the price or the atmosphere!

Ordered a burger fries and a shake, all the food was excellent. Waitress was unfortunately very rude. I didn’t get a greeting only a what do you want and when I said thank you for everything (trying to lighten the atmosphere) I didn’t receive any response but a low grunt. Waitress seemed like she had been there a while, maybe a bad day? I would come back!

This place has been here forever and their servers are extremely efficient! Plus good comfort food at a great price! Boy they sure keep.the coffee coming👍

Saturday homestyle brunch was tasty, eggs Benedict had a thick piece of ham and their biscuits and gravy had chunks of sausage.

Hometown favorite. Plenty of good food. No shortage of coffee, always cruising with the pots to refill. Always busy, never rushed. Very friendly staff and management, running a homey, local business to meet the needs of the hungry diners. It has a friendly, worn and loved appearance, yet it is clean and tidy. Comfort food with a local flavor.

Great experience. Dan was our waiter and we needed for nothing. From door to seat it was super service. The menu was easy to navigate. The potion to price was spot on. Loved the hash browns, it was so fresh not frozen.

The restaurant is 50+ years old and has all the original wooden booths. The Viking-themed curios and art is fascinating. I stopped in midafternoon to get a delicious and simple hamburger with old-style French fries. I topped it off with strawberry rhubarb pie and a scoop of ice cream. It's great traditional fare in a great setting. I was told that the place is jammed for weekend breakfast.The staff were friendly and helpful, the service prompt, the food tasty and the price very reasonable. It's a good, simple value.Update on March 10, 2019. There's a picture of the Viking Cafe in this morning's New York Times.

This place is Excellent if you like old-school diner atmosphere, it's the real deal! not made up to be that way, it's just stuck in the old days!! The staff is so friendly and helpful, My wife and her Grandma had breakfast and I had the lunch buffet, everything was so good, the salad bar is all home made and fresh. Chicken, cheesy-meatloaf, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, baked beans, chili on the buffet, it was all very good, the stuffing was great! My wife and grandma had omelets w/hashbrowns and toast, they loved their food too. 3 meals...$27...not bad.

Waitress was very nice and polite. I love that its family owned. The food was made quickly and freash and so delicious. The BLT is my favourite.

Awesomeness. Old school cafe, lots of delicious hearty food, and much of the decor (including the booths] looks to be original. Everything you want in a 'greasy spoon' and I use that term lovingly. Reminded me of the sorts of places my grandparents would take us when we were kids. They would have loved it and I love it! Don't change a thing.

I love this place. Staff is so friendly and efficient. I always get the ham and cheese omelette and the pancakes are the best I've ever had. Such a cute place!!
